Campus Visit
Description
Due to ongoing construction projects across campus aimed at enhancing our facilities, in-person campus tours will no longer be offered until further notice.
While construction is underway, we encourage you to explore BYU–Hawaii through our Virtual Campus Tour, which offers a great overview of campus life, academics, and student opportunities.
If you happen to be on the island, feel free to stop by our office with any questions. We’ll be happy to assist you and provide an online campus map so you can explore campus on your own.
Mahalo for your understanding as we work to improve our campus experience for future students!
Questions & Answers
Please bring your whole family/group. The first part of the visit, the admissions overview, can only accommodate about 15 people so if the groups for a time slot are too large we may ask that only the prospective students and a parent/guardian attend that portion, while the rest of the group spends time in the Aloha center. After the admissions overview we can bring everyone on a tour of our campus.
No, please only sign-up once for your whole group. If there are multiple prospective students in a group please only provide the information for the oldest or the one who will be applying soonest. We will ask for the information of other prospective students when you arrive on campus.
The visit will start in the Ho'okele offices in the Lorenzo Snow Administration Building, our groups will then move to a room in the Aloha Center for a presentation about the school, it's history, academics, and the target area. Following the presentation a student worker will take the group on a tour around campus showing our facilities and answering questions about student life.
You are not required to follow the school dress-code while visiting the campus. We do encourage following the dress-code for the visit, but it is not enforced on our guests.
We don't allow guests in the dorms. If you would like more information on housing please visit the
Student Housing page.
We don't allow visitors to sit in on classes. As you are brought around campus feel free to look into classes, but we ask that you respect our students and teachers as they are trying to learn.
We start all visits in the Lorenzo Snow Administration Building. Please meet there and check in with our staff.
Anyone can attend a campus visit.
Your campus visit will last up to an hour.
